The Client is responsible for ensuring all documents and information supplied are accurate, complete, and appropriate for the requested service.

Edmonton Process Servers shall not be responsible for errors, omissions, inaccurate addresses, incomplete documents, or incorrect information provided by the Client.

3. SERVICE ATTEMPTS & COMPLETION

A service attempt occurs when an authorized process server or agent attends the supplied address and makes a reasonable effort to serve the intended recipient.

Payment covers the services and related work purchased by the Client and does not guarantee successful service.

Where the intended recipient cannot be located, refuses service, avoids service, or is otherwise unavailable, Edmonton Process Servers will provide appropriate service information and documentation where applicable.

Additional service attempts, addresses, defendants, or other services may result in additional charges, which require Client authorization.

4. SERVICE TIMEFRAMES

Edmonton Process Servers will make reasonable efforts to perform the requested services within the applicable timeframes associated with the order.

Service timeframes may be affected by weather, unsafe conditions, incorrect addresses, recipient availability, statutory holidays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

No particular legal outcome or successful service is guaranteed.

5. PAYMENT TERMS & CREDIT CARD BILLING

Payment is required before services commence unless alternative arrangements have been approved by Edmonton Process Servers.

All charges are in Canadian dollars, and applicable GST will be added.

  • The recipient refuses or avoids service.

  • The recipient is unavailable.

  • Service attempts are unsuccessful.

  • The Client supplied an incorrect or outdated address.

If cancellation is requested before work commences, any refund will be determined according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Electronic copies may be provided to the Client.

Additional documentation, original documents, physical copies, or commissioning services may involve additional charges where agreed.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

Edmonton Process Servers will take reasonable measures to protect Client information and legal documents.

Information may be used for processing orders, delivering services, communicating with Clients, preparing documentation, meeting legal obligations, and other purposes permitted by applicable privacy laws.
